To those of you whom have purchased a paver to be placed at the
Irvine Park Zoo:

We at Stone Services ask for your apology in the delay of your pavers. With the winter we had here in Wisconsin, we did not realize how it affected other parts of the globe. In Georgia, they had massive flooding in their quarries which drove the prices too high for some smaller suppliers in that area.

Our supplier was an amazing family run business by his "Daddy and Mama" (80+ years old). He was waiting his turn to receive his share, because he couldn't pay the high prices. We checked with him every few weeks since April, but he is unable to provide them.

We have since been promised by another supplier to have pavers within 3 to 5 weeks (at a significant increase in our cost... but not to be added to your cost) and we will work overtime to produce them within a couple days.

Again, please accept our apology.

Sincerely,
Tom and Laura Bitney
Stone Services

Donating to the Irvine Park Zoo

The Friends of the Irvine Park Zoo is a small group of volunteers that formed in the 90’s to raise money for new habitats for the animals that reside there. Because we can't do it alone, the Irvine Park Zoo needs charitable contributions to help aid in its development and success.

Donations are a great way to get involved and if you'd like to donate to the Irvine Park Zoo you can do so here. However, donations are not the only you can contribute. The Irvine Park hosts many events and activities in which you can participate. You can also "Buy a Brick" which is added to the park's development. The brick can be customized to include some personalized information, giving you the opportunity to be a part of the historic Irvine Park Zoo. Fill out or download our brick order form to purchase your piece of Irvine Park Zoo history. Remember that all donations to Friends of the Irvine Park Zoo, Inc. are tax deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.

Irvine Park Capital Campaign

Since 1906, the natural beauty and amenities of Irvine Park’s 300-plus acres have created lasting memories for generations. The greatest gift of the park – and truly its heart – is its much-loved zoo. It brings together everyone who enters through the park’s gates.

Today, because of a deep affection for the Irvine Park Zoo, civic and community leaders are spearheading efforts to raise enough money to transform it into a first class zoo. At the heart of this effort is a $3.25 million capital campaign to expand and renovate this popular facility.

William Irvine left behind a legacy of generosity when he initially donated land for the park. Now it is time for everyone who has ever enjoyed the park and zoo’s amenities to lend a hand. Your pledge will help revitalize, preserve and expand Irvine Park and Zoo for the future!
